Sheila Oxspring, BSc, RSHom, MIAT, PGCE
Homeopath and Allergy Therapist
About Me
I qualified as a homeopath in 1997, having completed a four year training course. Having graduated from the British School of Homeopathy I became a Registered Member of the Society of Homeopaths (R.S.Hom). This organisation represents professional homeopaths. The Society requires members to abide by a strict Code of Ethics and Practice. I worked as a homeopath from 1997 to 2024 at the former Nancy Doyle Clinic in Bromsgrove with a busy practice. I have now moved to the Coppice Centre, Primrose Hospice, Bromsgrove, B60 3BW, where I have been seeing Primrose patients as a volunteer homeopath for many years.
Having a degree in Physiology, I took up teaching as my first career. I lectured in Anatomy, Physiology and Health Studies, assisting students into training for careers such as Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing etc. By arranging visiting speakers in health therapies and by placing students in work experience in health therapies, I have a wide range of knowledge of health and therapeutic services.
Later in my education career, I was Head of Health and Early Years at North East Worcestershire College. I retired early from my career in education to set up the homeopathy practice in 1997.
Allergies are a special area of interest for me. In 2001, I trained as an allergy therapist with the British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapy with whom I am registered (MIAT). I am therefore qualified both to test for and to treat allergies.
